About

Having successfully completed UC Berkeley’s Professional Sequence in Publishing certificate program, I have continued my professional development through editing and proofreading courses offered by Ryerson University, as well as holding a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in English Literature from McGill University.

With years of freelance experience, I edit book manuscripts and a wide variety of publications, including dissertations, theses, journal and magazine articles, reports, grant proposals, and website content. My background is wide-ranging, including a long history of legal research and brief writing, investigative research, fact-checking, in-depth academic and community-based research, journalism, and social justice work.

My specialties include political science, international affairs, sociology, international human rights and refugee law, women’s and gender studies, criminology, prison studies, geography, and more.

I am proficient in various citation styles (Chicago Manual of Style, MLA, APA) and dictionairies (Canadian, American, and British English), and provide a full range of editorial services, as well as French-to-English translation.
